I think that's what he's saying too, Nem.

Seriously, I think everyone at CD put in major effort on their particular areas. SCEA picked the right guys for sure! And one important point to remember is that there are things that can't be discussed just yet, as to not steal the devs' thunder before they release official blogs. There is a lot to come still with this year's game. Stadiums are pretty easy, yes or no answers.

Slab did you notice better grass textures and updated patterns? I seem to remember they said they were improving textures last year but only a few stadiums seemed to have it.

Also, vegetation no longer grows on the batter's eye at Camden since it died sometime last year.

Another big thing is the right field scoreboard near the flag court area was lowered. It's still standing room only out there, but now the scoreboard part is below the fans instead of halfway up their bodies. There's also fencing now.

Couldn't find a shot with people standing there, but you get the idea. That place is always hopping with people.

Also, there's a new Legends Park behind the bullpens that has the statues of Cal Ripken, Jim Palmer etc. While not that visible from home plate, it would be nice to get some shots of it in between innings or on long home runs out that way.
(All I could find online was a rendering of it, but it's pretty close to how things actually look.)

From the other Stadium Feedback thread... but, all these changes were made to OBPACY.

The one discrepancy is that the batter's eye ivy is still in the game, and I think it was removed in real life. Not sure if they plan to regrow it.

Also just a quick update, I can't locate the Marlins Park post, but I do have in my notes that the "M" logo was not removed from the grass behind home plate. I think the question was misinterpreted, sorry.

Thanks for giving us the nice update on OPACY, theSLAB! One more general question I have (might be more of a graphics question than a stadium question): do you know if the colors people are wearing in the stands have been adjusted at all?

Some stadiums have this right already, with the fans wearing predominantly team colors. OPACY is one that stands out like a sore thumb since it seems the crowd is primarily wearing white in past versions of the game. This (seemingly) small change could go a long, long way to making the ballpark and others with this problem feel more authentic.
