How long are the warranties?

I'd buy a cheap one if you plan on getting the PS4 in its first year, otherwise there is no need for 500 GB of space.

I am not sure if there are any cheap ones, but I am just saying. If you can get one for 200 or 250 then I'd go with that. Definitely don't buy one used at gamestop or anything though.

Any electronic good that you buy with an Amex card automatically doubles mfg warranty length.

Cheap with a vast library of cheap games more new great games to come. It will probably be 2 years before the 4 is a must buy.

I had the yellow ring of death a couple of yrs ago. Do a google search on how to fix it. There are several youtube videos relating to your problem.

It has been awhile, but I used the 'hair dryer method' and it worked for me. Not everyone will have the same results, but it is worth a try.

Yeah idk what I would do if my PS3 died and I could not play The Show. I would have to buy a PS3 just for a few months until the PS4 came out. In any case it is very unlikely the PS4 will have backwards compatibility so it would still be worth it in the long run. As for the PS4, I personally think it is a day one buy just for the new GPU. I'll put it like this I have an integrated GPU HD 3000 in a laptop of mine that gets better performance and results than the actual GPU in the PS3, for better or worse it's dead and the gaming world has been held back for far too long to hold it back any longer.
