Using these rosters and 30 team control, will the players who are in single A ever get called up by the CPU? Or do we have to put them on the rosters ourselves.

You can change the settings so either are possible.

I didn't edit any players, just the 40 man rosters

I don't know if this is what some others mean but I wanna know if you can answer.....

I use 30 team control and want the opening day rosters but I don't plug in all trades after opening day. I merely use it to control poor trades by the ai. I set all other 29 franchises to auto and monitor the proposed trades for realism.

But the question is will the other teams eventually also fill their roster as the season progresses? For example will the Rays eventually bring up one of their MLB pitchers like hellickson that is in the minors?

These 25 man and 30 team control isn't only useful for those that input all transactions after opening day. To me that is more work and doesn't allow you to run your team....but its great to prevent silly trades....
