I'll make sure he's there

OK all that's left is to set lineups, check uni numbers and re-rate a handful of teams for v 2.0. Should be done by the weekend or early next week. Just a note: I changed the '65 Twins to the '69 Twins to get Rod Carew in there. I also switched the '99 Diamondbacks to the '07 Diamondbacks.

Yep, that is why I choose the '67 Twins versus the '65 team in the Late '60s roster set was mainly to get Carew in the game.

Take Care,

Hey just curious what Marlins team u have in mind for version 3 if any yet? If I may offer my two cents, after the two championship teams that u already have in the first two sets, I'm not exactly sure your criteria but 2009, 2006, and 1993 are likely your best bets. 2009 was the Marlins third best season after the two championship years as far as record. 2006 wasn't as good record wise but that was the young team of nobodies that Joe Girardi won manager of the year for after pretty much making them outside contenders. 1993 was the inaugural season as is beloved despite the losing team it produced. For different reasons each of those teams would be fun teams to play with. Sidenote, the 1993 jerseys are in the game, the other 2 are not.

No, I won't be doing a third Marlins team. Not all teams will be replaced in the final base set. Relatively new franchises like Arizona, Colorado and Tampa won't have a third team. As far as inaugural teams, the only reason I put Tampa's inaugural team in v 2.0 is to avoid some player duplication. Also because their successful seasons were produced with the same base of players, especially pitchers, I just used the WS series team of 2008 in v 1.0.

Re: Classic Teams - MLB 16

It'll probably be about another week for v 2.0. Was travelling this weekend and just started coaching my daughter's softball team so not much got done.
