List of Classic Seasons & Historical Specialty Rosters MLB The Show

In putting together some classic rosters, I've been going through around 15 roster files and I have to say, you guys putting together these rosters have done some amazing work! When I can instantly recognize a face from CAP as a player I grew up watching without even checking the name or team, that's pretty awesome.

I've been playing the heck out of the 1995 season. Last night - 2 random teams: white sox (me) at Marlins (cpu). I lost 10-4. Pat Rapp pretty much kept me at bay. I took a 1-0 and then 2-0 leads. Each time the Marlins tied me up. And then Gary Sheffield just ate me up: 3-5 with 2HR and a double - 5 RBI's. Terry Pendleton went 5-5 against me. I was powerless. And I didn't care...

Haha yeah man Sheff and Conine were at their best in my sets in 95. Funny about MVPendleton tearing you up though, but losing is fun on The Show.

Still about a month out with work until I can start again, hoping not to lose the momentum I had with ratings since I'm doing them new for 99 like I did for the other 4 sets. Mainly averages, power, and then stamina. ERA should be good, just have to make sure I keep the consistency with the other sets. Otherwise appearance is always the same.

Anyway, I'll get it figured out and roll when the work year ends.

Also going to be changing the default Tampa Bay and Arizona teams for 95-97 but will get into that later and why when I do the 96 sim results.

Glad to hear you're enjoying it though, can't wait to get back and dig into it.

It is updated.All those on that list I have personally gone over.

I am awaiting Boston to finish up his ports of his classic teams.

But the rosters listed on the OP for 18 are the best out there.
