Just saw a 1979 Season Roster loaded in the vault. Looks good.

List of Classic Seasons & Historical Specialty Rosters MLB The Show

I am back in work mode and haven’t made any updates on 2002 in awhile. When I get the chance to play I’m doing my 2 Franchises and the 6th inning stuff for now.

Edit: realized you were talking about another Phil.

I say scrap 2002, and maybe help me some porting of 0S94+. Phil did some incredible work On the guys with no service time.

The real guys, I got covered w/ the usual: Stats + Service. There is no other way to go, imo. Message me if you want to put some time in this. Each team is 80-guys deep, and the resurrection of OS94+ would fuffill Phil's original intent, and even rival 0S1987. .

Blessings

6th inning stuff is Diamond Dynasty.

And why should he scrap 2002? That was a great year and the Moneyball Oakland A’s which are PJ’s favorite team.

Whenever it comes out PJ......it comes out. Hope you are well. Love your rosters every year man.

I am going to play a Texas Rangers 1989 season replay soon. Awesome stuff as always.

I also updated the the OP to reflect Volsfan39’s fictional roster. It is really nice folks. This cycle we have seen a few amazing fictional rosters between Bacon’s, The Bases Loaded NES Series fictional and now Vols39 which is really impressive.

Hold on, ..... I am just starting.
I have the guys on Seattle done,
w/ Career Stats + Service.
The Top Guys have very accurate stats/service,
while the decent/average guys are close in those regards.

I wish Phil would post again, as I want to know how he is doing, and to inquire how accurate his prospects ratings are w/ future progression. I also need to tweak some ratings as well. I will update "WIP" version as I progress.
How can someone add career stats to historical rosters

Lots of Simulating, and Close Editing along the way. Also, OS94+ is now being ported into an MLB 19, Roster File. I found a trick to get Phil's, 90-Man from MLB 16 to a Franchise File Save on MLB 19, in only 3-days. If any one wants to know what I did to accomplish this, just ask.

So, the players rated "F" and with last names in CAPS, are mostly gone. So, each team has like 77-80 real players on it. I am adding Service + Stats to the guys who should have them.

The players that are MLB, and Good MILB guys, will have their Appearnces cleaned-up. Phil spent so much time on this, so I cannot let it go to waste. I am basically using his full MILB, and my Stats/Service File for the rest.

I am not sure how to re-rate, or if it is even needed. Things look quite good for MILB guys, as they are @ Default. Any body heard from Phil, lately ?

Re: List of Classic Seasons & Historical Specialty Rosters MLB The Show

Sorry for the delayed update.

My 2004 set for 2018 is coming along slow but sure, sitting at half done now.

I am adding in prospects who were in the system to every team and in some cases guys who were drafted later (Ryan Braun 2007 I think?) as well. Teams should be deep and realistic.

Will post a more thorough update and better information in the next few weeks.

Also been overhauling my past rosters again with a big shout out to Latino Heat. Making some better visual improvements and upping some pitch speeds for players that were in the mid 90's when they should have been at a 100 or close to. Doesn't sound major, but it is to me.

Anyway, striving for greatness with my last set as well as for the past ones. Will be back in a bit.

Can't wait for this to give my Red Sox another whirl. Great to see you back, Baumy. I'm still lovin' the MLB 18 version.
