The point is, and, its a great thing about Sliders for the MLB series, there is no bad roster because you will eventually find a slider set out there that matches a Roster to your individual preference.

Excellent point here, raneman. I, like Don, use TommyJ's RBU to rate players, and it levels the playing field by taking personal biases out of the equation. Yes some players can be rated lower than other rosters, but as you pointed out, it's all relative and when you make slider adjustments you can easily find your personal sweet spot. People shouldn't be afraid of a set that contains a few players rated in the high 40s and low 50s because they are all scaled based on the stats for that particular year with the RBU. I know in my sets, players in the mid to high 90s are rare and those would be the standout players for that particular season. I'm a playoff mode guy using a HOF slider set and the rosters play very realistically.

My project now is a 1993, 70-Man + roster file, for MLB 19. Still have to move guys around, tweak ratings, and correct ages. I want to thoughtfully say "Thx" to TravDiddy, for providing us w/ his 1992, V-2.1 roster, as this is my strong foundation to work from.

Stats + Service are included, which includes accurate 3B fielding statistics. Takes a lot of simulating and ratings chopping. Worth it for realism. I will use roster vault to hold copies of the "WIP" 1993 file. Check for daily updates.

Yes it’s in the vault, I’m about 80 games in with my A’s. I added stadium music from back then to the game, adds a lot to the real feel to the game. It’s been a fun roster to play with. Mets are tearing up in the east in my season as well.

Got about 8 teams rosters set with pitchers rated, hitters not. Back at work now, won’t have much time lately. Trying to get the 6th inning done with the little free time I have as well. It won’t be done for a long while.
