Good idea

SDS usually does a good job with pitchers, but I will probably add some more

Currently working on getting the top 100 prospects rated, then I will check on pitcher batting attributes

Re: The TrueSim Roster Project: MLB 20

First of all, thank you! I'm glad to see someone finally realize that Elvis hasn't stolen 302 bases, including 31 last year, with 43 Speed. That being said, I know I'm splitting hairs here, but Choo attempted 16 stolen bases last year, swiped 15 of them and was only caught once. I was hoping his Speed would go up from 42, but instead you had it go down to 33, with a BR Agg of 53. I don't think, even if you crank the BR Agg up to 99, that someone can go 15 and 1 on the paths with 33 Speed. Thoughts? And thanks again for all of your work!

BTW, that should have said Stealing, not BR Agg. My bad.

He can still be a 15-20 SB threat. It's the stealing attribute and baserunning aggressiveness attributes that determine stolen base attempts and stolen base percentage. The speed rating doesn't actually affect stolen bases as much.

The speed rating does, however, influence where the AI will put batters in the lineup.

I have never used your roster set, so forgive the questions.

1. How long after Ridin releases do yours normally take after that?

2. I noticed a lot of secondary positions changed on your spreadsheet. Scwarber no longer C eligible, etc. How do you determine those?

For the secondary position, I consider all of the positions a player has played, as well as how recently they've been used there. Schwarber hasn't started a game at catcher since 2015, so I consider him a full-fledged outfielder now.

Once Ridin releases his project and we start editing, we will be able to give more of a concrete timeline.
