How does this hold up when transitioning from Spring into Regular season? Do you still need to make all teams cuts to avoid crazy DFA and call ups and send downs? Is it possible to save the rosters and lineups in the default main menu and then have them stick when teams make cuts? I can't remember that ever being the case

I just did a mid-season look through my Orioles roster and for the most part I'm really impressed with how similar their numbers are to the players IRL, batting averages especially are right on target for over half my roster. Gonna make a few totally subjective attribute tweaks where there's a big discrepancy (I don't care if it's a cold streak, I'm not letting Cedric Mullins maintain a .600 OPS LOL) but overall it's playing really well!

Yea, unfortunately if you want accurate rosters you have to set your 40 man rosters prior to starting a franchise and then sim through spring training until the last day then make your cuts. When you start the season with 26/40 guys on your mlb roster it sticks. What I do because I like to do several different franchises throughout the year is setup 30 different profiles for each team. Then I start up a franchise with 30 team control with each profile set to its corresponding team, sim to the end of spring training, set my injuries and mlb rosters and then sim to regular season. I make a save at the first day of the regular season with my accurate rosters as a template to use for other franchises I decide I want to do later. This way I only have to change up the mode settings for one profile before starting a new franchise. It’s a little time consuming but saves me from having to mess around with it everytime.

Also, for those in franchises, make sure your CPU profiles are setup like this:

I'm into May in my Yankees franchise and I've really liked managing the CPU teams' injuries and roster moves. It's helped a lot with immersion because I can prevent the CPU from making stupid mistakes like putting relievers in the rotation, and I can keep an eye on players around the league.

How is the CPU with their roster moves? Im kinda nervous to just control the Brewers, I dont want my Franchise filled with stupid moves and such.

Could be better, that's why I manage the CPU's moves for them.

I've seen silly things like teams having 3 catchers and relivers being added to the rotation due to injuries when letting the CPU manage rosters.

Hope everyone has been enjoying these rosters, especially folks who are using them for the first time.

I've been out of town this week so excited to get back to my franchise tomorrow. Keep sharing feedback, good and bad because this roster has taken huge steps forward over the years because of both praise and criticism. Those discussions have helped us tweak our processes and improve the quality and accuracy for all of you.

Mets franchise has been a blast! Looks like it’ll be a fun 3 horse race between us Atlanta and Philly as April comes to an end. I did recently change my sliders to the S&B set. I just wasn’t experiencing enough offense, specifically CPU. Ready for the weekend so I can bang out a few series hopefully!

My Mets just threw a combined no no. A lot tension and drama late. This game is a blast! This is why we grind out all 162. Because baseball always produces crazy and unexpected moments. My pitching staff is en fuego, hopefully we can build on this and get the bats going as we head into May with a 1 game lead! Check out my twitch and ride with me throughout this journey! LFGM!!
