Seems like the only two major things to look at with the patch will be Power and Manager Hook.

played 5 games post patch so far and noticing the CPU strike percentage is extremely high. Around 75%. Its both the CPU starters and relievers, they are just pounding the strike zone.

MLB average is low to mid 60% with the top pitchers around the high 60%.

Maybe something to look at.

interesting that you are seeing this change after the patch, didnt seem like that was touched. Are you on default post patch or using this set still?

I used the latest slider adjustments made by AS.
I will say that 5 games is a very small sample size, just strange how consistent the high strike percentage was. I will definitely play a few more games to verify.

Will be back playing the game in a few days.

Once I am testing will resume with the following tweaks:

CPU Contact - 6
CPU Consistency - 5

HUM Consistency - 3
HUM - Control - 2

Also looking at having the trade frequency slider a moving adjustable slider.

April - 5
May - 6
June - 9
July - 10
August - 10
September - 10
October - 5
November - February - 10
Spring Training - 10

I personally need to make pitching more of a challenge for myself, and I need to fear the CPU hitters more. However I do not feel HOF pitching is the right move for me until I test these excellent suggestions.

I agree about the CPU hitting too many batters. It was a trend and after over 50 games something that needs to be tweaked.

The set plays great already, but those two areas are the things that are consistently sticking out at the moment.

I play with these setting on Hall of Fame and get great results. I would highly recommend you giving Hall of Fame a try.

Well, with his consistency tweak yesterday, I would expect the CPU pitchers to do a better job of throwing strikes. They are going to be around the plate more and you have to adjust to taking pitches that are more borderline.

If there IS a tweak introduced by the patch, I'm confident Armor will iron it out

The Consistency tweak is a good one. It helps alleviate the wild pitches and balls in the dirt just enough to where it is virtually a non issue IMO.

I made one more very important tweak and V 3.0 is now official on the OP.

I move CPU Power to 5

I want to fear CPU hitters and this will do that. I am not seeing HR issues at all.....just none to speak of.

SOTS is now fixed.

Played just one game post patch so far and it plays fantastic. Like it did before.

They did change the audio of the sound of the ball off the bat. Not sure how I feel about it. Right now.....gotta get used to it. It is different. More of a crack sound than that swat sound. Not sure if I like it or not and not really sure whether would make that change.

But the gameplay set and quick manage set are fully updated on the OP.

Enjoy this amazing game folks. I am going to continue to play and see if anything changed. But so far.....really good.
