All the home run animations that already exist in the game, use them for all well hit balls, not just no doubt home runs.

*The Jose Bautista swing is nice but takes away from his signature uniqueness if everyone is using it.

It would be cool to have rainouts and doubleheaders. Or lets say you're in the 6th inning of a game, and the rain forces you to end the game early, giving you a win or loss just like real games.

Would rainouts or doubleheaders be anything other than a nuisance when put into a videogame (or change much of anything really)? I know I'd be pretty upset if I lost a game because the CPU decided to make it start raining in the 7th inning. I'd be fine with implementing poor weather conditions and have it affect the gameplay (balls hydroplane on wet grass, the wind picks up, etc), but having games cut short because of a randomly-generated event wouldn't work at all in my opinion.

I agree about rainouts in games in-progress. That would be very infuriating to be staging a comeback only to have the game called because of a computer generated event. However, I do think that rainouts before you begin a game leading to a doubleheader could be interesting. It would alter the way you would have to use your bullpen/bench which would be a nice addition.

I agree with you though. I'd much rather see weather have a noticeable effect on the action within the game than I would like to see doubleheaders.

If it worked kind of like it does in Dynasty League Baseball, that would be a great addition. Basically, have each Ballpark set up to react to what real life weather does and have a roll of the dice. I know it's frustrating for the Lord to make it start raining during the seventh inning during a comeback when the Rangers are playing, but that's Baseball for you.

True, maybe forcing you to end the game would be a bit much! hahahaha! You know guys it's funny, I got a ps4, and I can't wait for the show, it's too bad being visually impaired doesn't let me fully appreciate how awesome this game is going to look!!

What's the difference between that and any other randomly determined event that's a part of the game?

Crucial errors, pitches that hang at "just the worst time", CPU hitter getting a great swing on a great pitch to cap off a rally, critical injury to your ace/important player, etc?

Put it in the game (like wind), and put a slider on it (like wind). Now folks can decide how much, if any, chance of there being rain/a rain delay/rain out. Weather in an outdoor game is just as much a part of the game as the field and park it's played in, imo.

Actually you two may have won me over on this issue. I guess it really isn't that dissimilar to a) real life rainouts being disappointments and frustrations and b) every other thing in the game basically being determined by probabilities going on behind the scenes.
