You still have Justin Upton at 29 instead of 26. Kind of an unimportant detail but thought I would toss that in.

Re: MLB 14 The Show Official Trade Discussion Thread

So most of my other trades I mentioned looks like they weren't as realistic as I thought. So here is one more, let me know what you think! There are a few other players I am interested in but am not sure about realism. Criticism welcomed! If you think something needs to be added please give an idea!

Jean Segura for Zach Eflin (Mid B) and Rymer Liriano (High B).

Is there any realistic trades to acquire Cosart or Altuve? Or Arenado or Rendon.

For pitching I was looking at Martin Perez, Wily Peralta and Drew Smyly

You'll need more than that for Segura imo. Cosart and Altuve are definitely in play, Arenado and Rendon definitely aren't. Perez, Peralta and Smyly are all probably acquirable but you're gonna have to overpay to make it realistic.

imo Segura wouldn't be moved unless it was an overpay at least for the next year or so. Brewers really like him (especially because he could be switched to 2B in the future if Gennett doesn't pan out.)

Segura since June 1: .259/.289/.346, 73 wRC+

He definitely played badly the second half of last year but I still think the team would overvalue him this year and next if someone would offer them a trade.

Yeah, they would, but his actual value, regardless of the teams' perspective, probably isn't that high. I've been looking at him as a buy low.
