Game breaking?

Man, people's expectations are insane sometimes.

I'm sorry to see you going thru these issues knowing you were really looking forward to this game on PS4. I know on 13 Petco looked fantastic (i was drafted to the Padres in RTTS). I have to check it out on 14 and see if there's a problem on PS3 as well beig i don't play 14 as much as 13.

Honestly, i think 14 and the player lock were a great addition, and so i only use 14 to play Show Live games and Franchise on player lock, but i just think 13 was a better game, and am just continuing to play that with RTTS. My Home uniform is missing on 14 (that's kind of a game breaker for me), and i really don't think patches are forthcoming to our expectations.

Quite frankly, 14 on most ALL sports games were kind of a disappointment being they were dealing with Next Gen and were pretty much experimenting with the technology, and so they really didn't meet up to the hype people were expecting.

I think next year is going to be a BIG year for sports games on all platforms, being they will learn from all these mistakes (hopefully, or i won't buy them). The bad part is, this year kinda stunk.

game breaking means it makes a game unplayable. constant freezing, stuttering, controls that are not responsive - these are game breaking.

Poorly lit stadiums aren't game breaking, they are unfortunate.

I think he means he won't buy it. "Decision-breaking" is more like it.

Who are you to tell me what is game breaking or not? Poorly lit stadiums, as in from left field to right field in Petco Park and many others, kill the immersion once night overruns the park. I cannot get into night games in certain parks for these reasons. At times, Petco looks like its MVP Baseball days with the non-present lighting.

Not only does it kill the immersion, but it also give an unneeded advantage to the batter (online), and balls/fielders often get lost in the outfield.

I respect your opinion, but please don't tell me what is gamebreaking or not. To me, occasional stuttering and cutscene FPS drops do not break the game, but I support their fixes as well. Afterall, i've put in over 200 hours on BF4, and have dealt with my share of crashing and rubberbanding.

We all have a right to voice our displeasure.

I believe my issue is far from insane. Coming into a thread and belittling someone else's issue seems to be the only "insane" problem here.

Re: How's your teams stadium lighting?

Haven't played at AT&T park yet but I'm sure it's spectacular. Just started my chise with the g-men and only played 2 games on the road. Hoping to play a home game tonight tho. Has anyone else played at AT&T yet? Would like to know if they removed that wall in center field on ps4 cuz I heard it was still there on the ps3 version.

Re: How's your teams stadium lighting?

The dark outfield seats are wide spread and seemingly a bug of sorts.

However the more I go around all of the stadiums I'm starting to think some things were down to time ie: they ran out of time to do them all.

Look at PNC and AT&T. They are beautifully lit and have lots of signs, little details like rotunda lights etc all looking perfect. Then you go to other stadiums and signs (Indians as an example) , concourses, box seats etc are all in darkness.

Whatever it is it needs fixed and hopefully we won't have to wait until next year.

Honestly, that's what I think as well. PNC still has a very dark outfield, but AT&T is much better (even though some of the infield bleacher lighting is still a bit wanky at times?).
