I could be wrong, but I swear I saw Marucci bats, not Mizuno.

Might very well be. I'll have to go back and look at it

Edit: was Marucci not Mizuno.

Glad that those who were pushing for the licenses finally got it in. The devs are great when it comes to listening to what us gamers want.
I would have agreed with you a year ago. I started an Astros franchise. 2weeks later, I went to a game while visiting for a funeral. Roof was closed for the summer. Playing every game without the windows just never felt right and I had to abandon that franchise.

Having lived in San Diego, I have trouble playing in Petco when so many of the buildings are missing in the background. It's like "was there an earthquake or something?".

Did they say there would be a fourth brand for batting gloves? Or only the three.

4 for batting gloves. Only 3 for cleats.

Interested to see what the last brand is for cleats with Nike and UA.

Would like to see New Balance, but I'm thinking probably Mizuno, which is fine too.

There will be 4 plus the generics still I believe. I just took note of what was seen in the stream. Not everything was shown. There will be a blog next week about licensed equipment so keep your eyes open for that.

I'm really hoping they get New Balance in there. Those are definitely the 3 most worn cleats.

Nike
Under Armour
New Balance

EDIT: Saying that, I've never seen New Balance in a video game. I suppose the only other game it would appear in might be 2K and the only player I know of that wears NB is Matt Bonner. Seems a bit pointless to pay all that money for one player.

Fingers crossed The Show managed to get NB because some big name players wear them. Miguel Cabrera, Hanley Ramirez, Dustin Pedroia etc.
