Re: Weather Historical Data

Minneapolis is 70 degrees year-round in the game and that's a gripe that gets under my skin. As much as I'd like to go into detail, it's pretty clear what the problem is here.

Wouldn't MINN be one of the cooler places in the game? (Yes, I see your point).

Just the Minnesota issue or the fact that they all wear sleeves at a certain temp?

I was referring to the Minnesota temperature, but I'm sure the 100s of posts about the sleeves cannot go unnoticed lol.

Re: Weather Historical Data

Watching the Cubs/Cardinals opening night game,

a lot of the players are wearing long sleeves, but most notably, both starting pitchers are not wearing long sleeves.

This is contrary to the Show as in the Show, the pitchers are the ones who automatically wear long sleeves before any of the batters. I guess because the pitchers threshold for when they wear long sleeves is lower than the batters.

Ultimately, the Show needs to add an option in the editor, so it decides individually if each player wears long sleeves or not, opposed to all or nothing.

Pitchers often hate the restriction of having on a sleeved shirt. Usually they are warmer because they are moving a lot more than other players just standing around, but they do like to keep their arm warm. Hence the jacket being worn on the base paths. It all boils down to personal preference. Just like in football, some baseball players won't wear cold weather gear because they think it makes them appear soft. Others bundle up when the temps drop below 60.
