Re: Batting Questions - Getting Better Timing Results

I find if I move around too much I get under pitches or on top and drive them into the dirt. I start out looking for the pitcher to make a mistake and leaving one over the heart of the plate and then take em deep! Lol i play on all star without DD

Re: Batting Questions - Getting Better Timing Results

I initially thought the removal of the stride in pure analog wouldn't be a problem, but man, my timing has been terrible so far.

It's honestly taken the fun out of the game for me, and even makes me angry on occasion.

Re: Batting Questions - Getting Better Timing Results

I'm going to try to explain this timing thing a little bit.

Say the throw a fastball down the middle and you don't move your pci. If you have good timing you could make good contact with the ball. If you swing early your PCI will actually rise a little bit and if your late your PCI will lower on its own. That's why you can swing early or late sometimes and make good contact.

I know that's not to in depth but just a tip some people don't know. Also I'd you use zone I suggest you learn how to track the ball mid pitch so your not just sitting your PCI in one part of the strikezone.
