I play a chise and all of my players drop -2 speed when I enter a game (i.e. their speed stat reads 79 when I view their profile out of game but when they are base running in game it reads 77). I have no coaches that provide negative speed, in fact I have some that actually add speed. Does anyone know what is going on?

Other important notes:
-At the start of the season I had coaches with negative speed (perhaps it was a cumulative -2, don't remember), but I fired them. Do coaching buffs/debuffs not reset until the start of the next season? If so, hiring/firing in season would be 100% pointless I guess.
-I play on Allstar base running with ~3 base running speed and skill in sliders

Are they tired? And or unhappy? This can drop player ratings, really the only thing I can think of.

Also your coaches attributes with speed being an important attribute.

It happens in online franchise too and there is no morale system.

Doesn't online use the Inside Edge, would that cause attributes to fluctuate?

DD uses inside edge not online franchise.
