Gray... the A's are gonna want Vlad Jr from Toronto. Maybe Bichette as well. Would like to See what others have to say.

I agree the Jays aren't getting a controllable Ace like Gray without parting with at least one of Vald Jr, Gourriel, or Bichette. Especially, since they could be competing with the Yankees for his services since they are in need of pitching too. I could be wrong but whatever the deal is for him it will need to Wow them.

So would Gray for Vlad Jr and SRF be good?

The A's have a few legit prospects at 3b but not much of anything in the OF. I think Gurriel, SRF and a high C or low B... would like to hear what others think.

I'm about to hit confirm on the following trade but would like a second opinion:

Gray to Houston for Martes, Fisher, looking for a third...

Think Vlads eventual spot is at 1st in my eyes.

And dont think theyd trade Gray to a division rival

Usually I'd agree but the A's and Astros have dealt before (Scott Kazmir) and there are rumours that it could happen again.

But for a Toronto deal do you think Vlad Jr and SRF is enough or does there need to be a 3rd?

They have traded before in the past as they sent Kazmir to the Astros. However, Kazmir was a rental and since Gray has a few years left of control the Astros would have to overpay for the A's to consider trading within the division.

Just dont see Gray indivision to Houston. Think Colorado or Toronto are more likely

Re: MLB 17 Trade Discussion Thread

Anyone have the link to that spreadsheet with sensible trades in it? Or failing that, know a realistic value on Chris Archer (having a great individual season in a sea of awfulness) if I was looking to go full rebuild and look for quantity of young talent over major league ready talent?
