I still have a lack of injuries.

I got two on the DL...I'm starting July. That's not a lot. I have literally 0 injuries (day-to-day or DL) in my two other franchises combined.

The only MLB team with so few injuries is the White Sox, and they have 3. Most everyone else has DL injuries galore.

I guess sports medicine is awesome in 2028

That was the last game of August. What's weird is that it's September 1st and the game is talking about call-ups, yet on my screen it says there's still 3 days until I can call up players to the expanded rosters. Not sure why that is.

Your minor leagues are finished with their seasons?

Shane Kane suffered a roadblock on his excellent rookie campaign as he will be out up to 8 weeks with an injury he suffered in the Marlins 5-4 loss to the Rays, the second consecutive 5-4 loss.

The team's offense continues to cool. Sam Javeri is back on a down swing as his average has dropped to .265 while Mark Morrow and Arturo Gonzalez in the bottom of the lineup are also having a rough time of things.

Scarier still is that Stan Brito might also be suffering. The NL's leading hitter and owner of a .354 batting average might be seeing a bit of a reversion, which likely will cause some issues at this rate.

New face Dalton Couch came in relief for Kane's injury and looked solid until he just wore down.

"I was impressed, he didn't seem like a nine ERA guy to me, " the Marlins manager commented, "I can't wait to see him in a more normal situation."

The Marlins are 2-3 since ending their win streak. They still have a sizable lead in the division, but are more concerned with playing well and working out the kinks.

"We'll make the playoffs, but we'll be done in the first series if we play like this, " manager Richard Batista commented.

Re: MLB The Show 18 Franchise Discussion Thread

So I have decided I'm going to do another fantasy draft after my nephew deleted my last one. I just prefer fantasy draft because when its the real team I end up trying to do everything that's happening in real life and I end up not playing at all. So wish me luck with doing ANOTHER 30 team control fantasy draft all 90 rounds. Hopefully my team turns out well like my last one lol

Ah, that's likely it. I'll have to check their schedules tonight.
