Do you sim, quick mange, or play some/all 162 games?

I usually play away games at stadiums that I never played before (usually 1 game in a 3 game series and 2 in a 4 game series). I always play at Boston because loving play at the green monster. If I got a hot pitcher I play the games he starts.

I also check AA and AAA to see who's hot and call up to see If I find some hidden gems (also send down). I also train and make sure to check the auto train as it does changes from week to week (based on my games played on 17).

My buddy and I were talking and we came up with a rotation. Using the following rotation, users play about 5 games per month and simming the rest.

It's simple. Play opening day, sim to your #2 starters 2nd start, play. Sim to #3 starters 3rd start, play. Sim... ect... on and on until the end of the season.

The only reason to use this method would be to get through multiple seasons.

I play every single MLB game. Then I quick manage my AAA & AA games.

That basically what I do. I am year 3 (2020) in my Reds Franchise.

I play all 162 games. I’ve only finished a season maybe twice in my lifetime.

Starting 18 today, but with 17, I used to try to play 162, but I'd get bored and start a different franchise over and over again.

No, I play one and sim five, which I think is what Gopher is describing. Let's you throw with all of your starters, keeps the season moving and is a pretty good measuring tool for your teams true talent.
