Ohtani question for angels Franchise

Thinking about starting a franchise with angels....always wanted to but the Ohtani thing always hung me up...after searching the forum for awhile I thought i would ask my questions and hopefully someone knowledgeable will just answer them all

1. I know he has to pitch and play 20 Innings in the field to get the two way icon and I assume DH counts.....what is the benefit of having that two way badge?

2. How do you manage his health if you pitch him? DH' ing him wont get his energy up for next start.

Thanks and any other pointers are welcomed

I usually DH him for 2 games after he pitches and then let him rest until his next start. Two way is good in case you need an emergency OF if someone gets injured. With his secondary positions as OF, you could throw him out there

I'm more curious as to why his speed is only 66. Dude is way faster than that.

All speeds are based on StatCast data, so he is a 66 because that's what his actual numbers said he should be.

The speed attributes were done pretty poorly this year IMO. If you go to baseball savant, it shows players sprint speeds and what percentile they’re in. So it’s already a 1-99 rating they give you.

I went through and edited players based on that value. Dansby Swanson was in the low 70’s speed wise I believe, even though he’s in the 88th percentile.

Playing with the White Sox, some of their guys seem much slower as well. Moncada at 61 speed is way too low.

Ohtani's statcast speed numbers are very good. He had an average sprint speed of like 28.2 feet per second which was pretty close to Mike Trout actually (29.2)

If your simming with him....GET RID OF HIM. The sim has him do horrible. He will have a AWFUL ERA and a good average constantly.
