As a whole, expectations need to be tempered.

I'm going on 2 years not buying The Show, which was a Day 1 buy for me year in, year out since 09. I understand the focus on DD; It makes money.

Still hopeful create-a-ballpark and a meaningful update to Franchise happens. We'll see.

"Battle Pass". Two words I thought I would never hear in a baseball game in previous generations. Only battles I'm interested in are 17 pitch ABs between top pitchers and hitters.

You’ve been up in arms over an assumption? Sounds like you’ve only got yourself to blame on this one, man.

We know what a Show franchise mode looks like, so set your expectations there. No need to give it any extra thought until and if/when they show something new.

As a DD player, I am pretty excited for this year's game. I look forward to seeing who the new legends will be. Hopefully this is the year we get players like Clemente, Aaron and Pedro.

I really thought a new legend would be leaked in the teaser video but I didn't notice one after watching a few times.
