Not that I've seen. He just posts something anti UFC he digs up somewhere and that's it.

He replied and called me a brainwashed UFC fanboy or something like that once. Thats the only time I remember.

machida usually out strikes his opponents. there is a huge misconseption that machida runs. he gets in and out of range better than anyone, and seems really difficuly to time because of his awkward stance, being lefty, and his speed and reaction time. he dispite being a reach disadvantage, can find ways to strike from the outside.

Re: Fedor Is More Elusive Than Machida

I am the biggest fan of Fedor out there, but one thing Machida has over Fecor is he has never been rocked. That is an amazing statistic IMHO. Than again he hasnt competed as much as Fedor yet.

Re: Fedor Is More Elusive Than Machida

Arlovski seemed to be able to hit him a lot before the flying knee attempt. Replace fedor w/ machida and machida wouldn't get hit as much.

also, quit living in the past.

Yeah, but as others have said before me, I think a lot of that was Fedor setting arlovski up by letting him feel like he was comfortable.

I think a great matchup for Machida would be Kevin Randelman. He has one of the quickest and strongest takedowns I have ever seen. I also think he would be strong enough to get out of Loyos sub attempts.
