Re: UFC 99: The Comeback

as far as mma goes, you can have great fights without big names. look at A. Silva's last fight. he has the potential to knock anyone out at any time and decided it wasn't worth it, so it was a lackluster fight. Then, you can have two no names to the common mma fan and it can be fight of the night. I think if you are heavy into mma, train, etc, you get excited about most things mma.

Dan Hardy and Marcus Davis is going to be a good one. This card is great.

I noticed that the Kongo/Velasquez fight is now Herring/Velasquez. Was this a change or was Kongo listed by mistake in this thread? It should still be a good fight but I'm just curious if Kongo got hurt or what.

Herring got hurt. Kongo is actually the replacement.

That's weird, you'd think the commercials would have this right.

Ya, I was suprised by the commercial because they knew Kongo was replacing Herring for awhile. Honestly, I am much more excitied to Kongo than Herring. Cain is a serious up and comer from what I hear and Kongo is really deserving of a title fight if he wins.

I love Wandy and Franklin, so I just want to see a good fight.

Davis is fun to watch.

I am super excitied to see Uno back in the UFC. I liked his last couple fights in Dream and for some reason I am not a huge Fisher fan.

Definately hope Cro Cop fights and interested to see what he does. I want to see a solid CC in the UFC, I really don't think it is going to happen.
