Strikeforce: Henderson v. Shields (April)

This is about a "good" or intriguing card SF can put on outside of Fedor.

Looks like the WEC and SF are putting their best on their next cards.

Best card of the year so far is a week away.

I find it puzzling that Mayhem is fighting on the prelims, though.

We couldn't get Mayhem/ Souza III, Strikeforce?

There's only 3 fights on the main card so they'd probably air the Miller fight anyway.

Aoki/Melendez is my most looked forward to fight in a while. I wonder if Aoki will be allowed to wear his grappling pants, if not he'll probably go the Sotiropolous route.

Mousasi shouldn't have any trouble with King Mo unless he catches Mousasi. Mousasi is just a much better fighter at this point in time.

I see Hendo over Shields also as Shields is a bulked up WW, while Hendo is one of the biggest MW's around. Shields will likely lose his belt and then hopefully be on his way to the UFC.

There is already talks about a Melendez/Aoki trilogy.

I don't think Aoki is going to do well, at all. I haven't seen much of Melendez's ground game, but he trains with the Diaz brothers who have some of the best jitsu in MMA. I'm thinking either struggles to get it to the ground, or if he does get a hold of Melendez then gets pushed up against the cage and pounded out.

This just had to be on CBS huh? Still waiting for stupid Direct TV to give me the CBS HD feed. As much as I love King Mo I think Mousasi is going to destroy him. His defense is going to hurt him imo.
