Re: WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber on PPV

In case anyone didn't know Dana White is promoting the WEC PPV instead of the usual WEC promotion. That means that Mike Goldberg and Joe Rogan will be doing the play-by-play and color commentary for the broadcast and that Spike will be airing prelims. They will show the Leonard Garcia vs. Chan Sung Jung and Alex Karalexis vs. Anthony Pettis fights before the PPV.

After 2 weekends in-a-row of big letdowns courtesy of Anderson Silva and the Cesar Gracie camp I'm really hoping the WEC delivers as usual. MMA could use something positive after the past 8 days.

This is the card I've been waiting for all month!

Hopefully it's a case of best for last

I love both Aldo and Faber so here's to hoping no bad cuts or broken hands or anything freaky

Don't care too much for the lightweight bout but I'm definitely interested to see how Brown bounces back.

I don't want to get my hopes up too much, but I don't see how this card doesn't deliver.

Did you not see the first Cerrone/Henderson match? I don't understand how you can't be excited for a rematch after the fight they put on last year.

Definitely saw the first one.

I guess it's just that I don't see either as anything that special.

Henderson I guess has a shot at making a name for himself but yeah I don't hold either in high esteem, yet.

Re: WEC 48: Aldo vs. Faber on PPV

MMAFighting.com has put together an article with videos of the first five fights of Jose Aldo's career. Don't worry, it won't take you long to watch them all, no one makes it to the second round.

Beast mode since the beginning.
