The UFC doesnt do that. Even Silva had to fight once before a title shot. The only reason Henderson got a shot the first time was he was the Pride Light Heavyweight Champ at the time. Also he should have to wait behind Rampage/Rashad and Couture. I love Gegard but he hasnt beat anyone on the UFC level yet.

The only reason i said that was when Fedor was negotiating with the UFC it was rumored that his first fight would be a title shot against Lesnar. But then again Fedor is a different beast.

Thats true but like you said Fedor is a different beast. Fedor is univerally considered the #1 Heavyweight.
