I read "Torres Released" and immediately knew it was twitter related. It's a bummer, but Dana had to make an example sooner or later about these rape jokes. MMA will never be as censored as other sports, but use some discretion and don't be an idiot.

Damn, couldn't he have just fined Miguel too? I understand that it's a dumb comment, but this is the first time he's been involved in anything like this. It definitely makes Dana look like a hypocrite, but I guess cash rules. At least Rashad didn't get fired.

While stupid and wrong to make those comments, unless they have some clause in their contract, you shouldn't fire them. There are plenty of stupid and bad people in other sports, but fans of those sports can choose to not like, watch, support, etc those players. If people get upset, let them get upset at the person and not the sport.

Too much PC crap. Don't watch or buy stuff from his sponsors and the UFC won't pay him any more.

Well unlike other sports, MMA is still not considered a main stream legitimate sport. Hell it is still illegal in some states. Therefore it makes it hard on Dana to try to expand the legalization of this sport in all 50 states when he has people under contract making statements that feeds into the stereotype of the sport he is promoting.

In a way I feel bad for him. At one point he was on Uriah Faber star level in the WEC and I was hoping he would have gotten the same push Cain did for 2012.
