Hmm, nothing is ever a gimmie, but Shogun, if you lose that fight bro... that would not bode well.

Yikes, the same Brandon Vera that was recently fired and cast away is now fighting Shogun? I hope Shogun murders him, I dont dislike Vera but I have no idea how he went from fighting on the Fuel card to headlining against Shogun.

EDIT- To add to this, Vera has technically lost 3 of his last 4 fights, 2 if you recognize the NC against Silva but his lone win being against Eliot Marshall and that warrents a shot against Shogun? Such a strange booking imo.

This leads me to believe that shogun did turn down the glover fight. Vera will get crushed.

It's another case of nobody else to fight, for Shogun....

Stylistically, it'll be entertaining. Or should be

Vera vs. Shogun? Yikes. How could they not do any better than that? No body else better is available? What about Rashad, Little Nog, Phil Davis, Bonner, etc.? The need someone with some "star power". Especially for a Fox card. They're supposed to be making the casuals want to watch the fight, not driving them away.

Hell, why not give us Shogun vs. Machida 3 and Bader can take on Gustaf or one of those other guys I mentioned.

I think they want to build Davis up slower.. after being dismantled by Rashad..

Rashad would be too short notice maybe, but would be awesome.

Little Nog would be cool too, Bonnar is supposedly fighting Forrest...

Shogun Machida 3 would be cool on one hand, on the other, trilogies are kind of meh.

Forrest is fighting Tito I thought? Bonnar was trying to get him and Griffin as the coaches on the next TUF but Dana shot that down, which by the way, I actually thought was a fantastic idea. Both have big personalities, both have been in the house and offer insite that previous coaches dont, viewers love Griffin and a third fight wouldnt be the worst fight in the world.

Aw, you're right, this is what's on Wikipedia

Bonnar has recently been campaigning for a spot as a coach on The Ultimate Fighter against Forrest Griffin going as far to state he would, " Not go for any takedown, not block any punches and always move forward." However, no official word has been issued.
