You should read the boards more often, Gomer's said a lot of things worse than that!

Either on here w/ GomerKerms or on mvpmods.com using GForce's TotalMinors. Both are great

Hey JD,

Hope all is well. It's been a week since I emailed you the PS2 roster for GForce's TotalMinors v3...

Life is more important... just hope everything's ok. Post it whenever you get the chance...

Yeah I've been gone for a while. I'm back now and as you might imagine, I have a LOT of stuff to catch up on. Not only on OS, but in general. I'll be posting everything that was sent to my inbox during my absense asap.

Re: MVP Baseball 2004 Roster Discussion

Hey Pared or G-Force...

Do you remember a little while ago when one of the arguments against Kerm/ Gomer's roster work was the editing of pitches...? That dude Badgun especially was irate about it.
Well, as I read the "read me" that comes with V3 of Total Minors, I saw this....
"VERSION 3 Revisions:
__ Complete major league edits. For hitters, this means split adjusted contact/power ratings, as well as revised patience ratings and altered range/arm strength & accuracy ratings based on Ultimate Zone Rating statistics. For pitchers, this means adjusted pitch types, stamina, movement and control ratings, as well as accurate velocities based on scouting reports."

So are the pitches in V3 edited? Is this going to cause the same problems that many complained of regarding Kerm's work? I didn't see those problems, but apparently enough people complained about it.

Thanks,

rawLo

No. On the contrary. Assigned pitch types (actually, pitch "descriptions" in MVPEdit) had certain pitches, particularly from lefties, breaking incorrectly. This was in the first TotalMinors edition, and actually existed with a pitch in v2 as well. It has since been modified. Basically, Kerm's roster (from what I've heard) had pitches breaking wrong in many cases and it was never adjusted. All pitches break as they should in TotalMinors.
