Is he good enough at attacking the basket?

I don't want to spend 20k on the player and then find that I can't use him

Thanks
The reward Harper? Yes, yes, yes, yes and yes yes yes. He can do it all. No crazy dunks over 3 defender, but he dunks

And Release is easy

I just got Harp last night. First of all, shouldn't cost you 20k, more like 15 and if you're very patient closer to 10. He comes with Dimer which is nice. I was only able to play one game with him, but I noticed a huge upgrade over my previous PGs Robert Pack and Jay Williams. Haven't played with him enough to comment on those specifics, but everyone on here who has gotten him loves him.

Thanks guys

I will probably edit the Knicks one to test him in a scrimmage too

His knicks version has a very easy release

Edit

I got the Mavs Collection for about 20k (PS4). I upgraded his silver dimer and corner specialist to gold (2,5k) gave him gold pnr maestro (2,5k) gold accrobat (2,5k) gold pick dodger (0,75k) and a Nike shoe (0,5K) with +9 driving/+6 speed with ball (and +3 ball control).

I sold Badged up Lillard for 8k and Bruno Caboclo who was sitting as my 13th player strangely for 3k. Guess the Raptors have high demand due to Diamond Bosh.

All in all I ackquired a fully badged up Harper for 20k. I am pretty happy. I will play tomorrow with him, but his release is VERY easy, and his stats look great.

Re: Best Sapphire/Ruby Collection Rewards

By the way Harper is definitely the best PG I have used.

i have him with a ball speed/ driving Nike shoe and he is a 10 pts 7 assist per game player, plus he is a master in defense

20k very well spent

Re: Best Sapphire/Ruby Collection Rewards

Doug Christie is my second favorite reward card so far after Derek Harper.

Christie comes with the silver lockdown defender badge by default, plus he has a nice mix of shooting, defense, and athleticism ratings.

Luckily, I did the Raptors collection while it was cheap well before Diamond Bosh came out. I don't know how much Christie costs nowadays, but he's a great two-way wing to compliment Eddie Jones. I like Christie better than Sprewell, Szczerbiak, and Schrempf for sure. I haven't tried Battier or Hornacek yet to see how they compare to Christie; those are the next two cards on my to-get list.

I am also waiting for Anthony Davis' price to drop some more before I unlock Peja.

Do you guys think going for Battier is a worthy upgrade over Horry?

I would run him as a stretch four.

I would say no to Battier as PF

He has very low rebounding, his post defense is worse and he is also shorter.

Battier is excellent as sf. But not as pf. Horry ist best as pf, battier as sf
