Looks like it's going to be Spurs and Pelicans this week. Good rewards for both sets. But I'm mostly excited about completing the Spurs sets to get Manu. I had Sabonis for 30 games and he's easily the best offensive weapon I've used in 2K. Add on the Manu DD, he is going to go NUCLEAR.

I'm sure other Sabonis owners will be stoked when the Spurs collection drops today

I real elsewhere that it's the Pelicans and Timberwolves. First of all, it wouldn't make sense to drop the Pelicans and Spurs in the same week. People are going to rip packs for both of them, so there's no reason to release them in the same week. They would be fools to do that.

Second, there is no player on that Spurs historic roster that only played for the Spurs. Nikola Pekovic on the Wolves roster has never played for another team.

Yeah...I also have Sabonis and also would like having Ginobili but don't expect for the cost of him to make sense, despite the Dyn Duo boost. So I'm glad it's not Spurs for this period, so that I have at least another couple weeks to maybe build up the necessary MT.

Anyone going after CP3? He looks really good but I already have Rose, TP and Amethyst Curry. I'm not sure if his collection is worth locking in at this point with all the possibilities of pullable diamond PGs coming. I really want Diamond GP.

He'd be very nice to have, given how poor, defensively, your existing trio is.

But while this Diamond CP3's ratings are outstanding, his badging is poor. Only one HoF badge, and only 3 others, so can only carry 10 total badges. Has Floor General, at least, but nothing else useful. A good Diamond should have 2 or 3 good personality badges, and 2 or 3 HoF badges, and room to hold 15 or more regular badges.

And even if badging is something you can overlook, he's only 6'0" and his Shot Contest is not great, at 82. And his shot is on the slower side. So his strengths in defense and shooting are both compromised, from my perspective.

I'm pretty sure I'd rather use Diamond Jason Kidd:

I did this same comp last night and I have to agree. Kidd is bigger and has better/more badges. He wins the tiebreaker between two guys with very similar attributes. Plus you can sell Kidd for around 100K if you need MT later on and you'd have to lock Paul in.
