Not that it matters, but the AI cheats on these.

It took me a couple tries on the 2nd one, and I ended up going to triple overtime (after a couple of CPU buzzerbeaters). But what I really noticed is that they played the same 5 players the WHOLE GAME. 2 quarters + 3 overtimes. Even though these are short, fatigue is accelerated of course. Despite resting my guys several minutes, they were still near-gassd level by the end, while the CPU never was gassed and Brook Lopez was flying around the court like Anthony Davis, despite being guarded by Mutumbo the whole time.

2k told us CPU scripting is not in the game. It's all momentum.

One time CPU Bird had 0 momentum in the final domination game and missed 50 FTs in a row so I could not send the game to OT. Sounds made up but it really happened.

They're not easy Challenges, per se, but I didn't think they were especially difficult. I had to concentrate but did both on first try. Think I had to go Overtime in the first one.

My MVP for the two Challenges was Emerald Historic Rockets Jianlian Yi.

In the first game with 74 OVR limited lineup, I think I ran: Gold D-Rose, Silver Roberson, Gold Giannis, Emerald Yi, and Bronze Papagiannis. Bench of 65 OVR Bronzes.

For the 2nd game versus the Nets, I think I ran Gold Rubio, Silver Tony Allen (I didn't read carefully and thought we play the Blazers), Emerald Carmelo (? I forget), Emerald Porzingis, Emerald Yi.

Yi is 7-foot, with 87 Block, 80 Shot Contest, and I've badged mine up with Rim Protector, Catch & Shoot, Corner Specialist, and Limitless. He only has 65 Strength, so he gets backed down. But when it comes time to take the shot, his standing contest is no joke. With 87 Block, at 7-foot, and with a 75 Vertical, he can reject shots.

I think he held Lopez to 3-7 shooting or something like that, with two misses being blocks. And scored something like 16 or 18 points, going 4-4 from outside. With 69 Speed and 62 Acceleration, he can easily beat Lopez down the court in transition. With 69 Speed with Ball and 71 Ball Control, he can even lead the break.

I find the team selection aspect of these limited OVR Challenges to be a fun exercise. We can impose them on ourselves, but having the hard limit stops us from making little allowances. It was hard for me to pare my lineup down from 76 to 74 in the first challenge, and from 80 to 79 in the second.

Make sure you stock the bench you don't need with 65 rated bronzes. Even changing from 69 rated ones to 65 makes a difference. I did a dynamic duo and didn't notice a Spike in my team rating but had much improved players. Enjoyed building a team to win this. Felt that the reward was fair for the time it took.

This is the last one of these I play. These are nothing but pure intent from 2k to rip you of your contracts be forced to buy more more packs and spend money.

I tried the first one against the Bulls when you're up by 4.

I scored the first basket but the scoreboard didn't change... WTF!

I got the MT pt's for a layup and assist etc... but the score stayed the same RIGHT. Jimmy Butler then hits a fadeawy on the buzzer to force OT, then Robin Lopez tips in a missed Jimmy Butlers shot on the siren in OT over the back of Bob Lanier and Anthony Davis.

Boring and predictable 2k dribble.

The challenge reward is more enough to buy 5 contracts for a lineup that you would use for these challenges so no.

If these had a higher reward, then I think these types of challenges are great.

The problem with this game is how 'Arcade' it has become.

I run basically an all diamond/amethyst lineup normally, and I gotta admit, using DeRozan and Lowry for the challenge and the rest of the bronze/silver scrubs actually felt more real and simulated.

Had to earn every basket, missed shots I shouldn't have made, and made shots that I had to work VERY hard for at times.

Sounds awesome to me.

Challenge should have been at least 5000MT.

Incentive to keep some favourite bronzes and silvers in the collection, keeps prices in AH up a little, and brings you back to earth a little.

If youve actually got no skill in this game, it shows more with worse cards.
