Re: SimWorld’s 2k16 Fictional Draft Classes by CWSapp/Dreece/Blindside (XBOX One)

A few people have asked so let me just start by saying that we are aiming for this weekend for the release of draft class one but we are only going to release one version of the class. We want to wait until the next patch notes are released to see if we will need to make any changes. After that, we will then release version 2 and version 3 of the classes. Anyway, enjoy some SimWorld talk and get yourself familiarized with these players in the mean time.

Draft Class 1 Sim World Talk (Part 1)

Every year I provide what you could refer to as a mock draft for you guys prior to the class being released. The one I provide however, is based off of statistical data averaged between the three versions of each draft (where potential, peak start, peak end can vary for each player). This year, I wanted to let the other guys from the Sim World crew provide their top picks all the way through the lottery simply based off of their knowledge and what they know about the players. This may provide you with some additional knowledge or may confuse you. Either way, it should be fun to see what the other guys think. I’ll start with giving you my entire first round as well as the letter grade I have given them.

Blindside Mock Draft 1 - 14
1) PF Laqua Palmer/ Tennessee/ Sophomore (6’10” 235 lbs.)
2) PF Jabarr Wilson/ Kansas/ Junior (6’9” 230 lbs.)
3) SF Kiante Oakman/ LSU/ Sophomore (6’7” 224 lbs.)
4) SG Che’ King/ Georgetown/ Junior (6’5” 175 lbs.)
5) SF Rayshaud Hill/ Kentucky/ Freshman (6’8” 226 lbs.)

13) PF Tre’von Burgess/ Oregon State/ Senior (6’9” 249 lbs.)
14) C Nikola Mazuranic/ Crotia/ 19 Years Old (7’1” 294 lbs.)

Although Laqua Palmer is quite injury prone, his talent is undeniable so I wasn’t surprised to see him at the top of Blindside’s list. I was a little shocked to see Jabarr Wilson so high though. Kiante Oakman seems to be a lock for the top five with his lockdown defensive ability so no surprise there. Seeing Rayshaud Hill at number 5 lets me know that Blindside may not be sold on his potential being that four players above him on his list are all more NBA Ready than Hill. After number five, the list becomes really weird and I like it. Davidson is the sharpshooting rebounder out of Alabama but I feel he may not get much better than he is. David White is a great athlete but he is not a traditional back to the basket player. Tashion Burns is going to rack up a lot of blocks but he won’t give you much on the offensive end. The most interesting player I see up here is Harrison Anthony at number 10 who I don’t even have in my first round. Maybe Blindside knows something I don’t. Tomorrow we will look at Ronyell’s list. Interesting to see what you guys think and who you might be targeting in this first draft class.

If Che King can add 15-20 lbs I'd consider him.

Are you guys sending the scouting reports out to the guys on the list from last year?

Awesome, sounds like a good way to go. How do you use freestyle on players in a draftclass?
