Quick question:

Would you rather have a roster with multiple versions of certain superstars, such as Lakers and Warriors' Wilt and Suns and 76ers Barkley, or would you prefer to have one prime version of each player?

Let me know. Twitterverse seems to favor one prime version. Will also hit up my YT crowd as well.

I'd prefer one prime person but sometimes it is difficult but I'd like to have no more than 2 versions of that player in the game

As for the question, I think multiple versions is a good idea only if a player’s style of play changes a lot over time. One that I can think of is Dan Majerle. Very early in his career he was a horrible 3 point shooter and then later became primarily a 3 point shooter. Most guys don’t change their game much so I don’t think there is a big need for multiple versions.

my kid had a great suggestion. He said do a roster with dups and one without. It's not really a ton more work. So now, there will be 4 rosters:

one with all-time teams with multiple versions of some stars
one with all-time teams with only a prime version
one with all legends in free agent pool with multiple versions of some stars
one with all legends in free agent pool with only one prime version
Should be cool..
