Yeah I like your idea better about putting them on the same roster. Just means we may need to create caps for people like Lebron or Duncan. We need a good CAP guy or it won't look good

Using Javieer's idea of not using every team if they made the finals for multiple years, here are the teams we can create and the slots we could use for teams. We can go back pretty far just using current teams and classic teams already made by 2k.

2015 Warriors- current slot
2015 Cavs- current
2014 Spurs- current
2013 Heat- 2013 heat
2012 Thunder- current
2011 Mavs- current
2010 Lakers- current
2010 Celtics- current
2009 Magic- current
2008 Celtics- 2008 celtics
2007 Spurs- 97-98 spurs
2007 Cavs- 2007 Cavs
2006 Heat- 2006 heat
2006 Mavs- 2003 Mavs
2005 Pistons- current
2004 Pistons- 2004 Pistons
2004 Lakers- 97-98 Lakers
2003 Nets- current
2001 Lakers- 2001 Lakers
2001 76ers- 2001 76ers
2000 Pacers- current
1999 Knicks- current
1998 Bulls- 1998 Bulls
1998 Jazz- 1998 Jazz

1995 Rockets- Current
1994 Rockets- 1994 Rockets
1994 Knicks- 1994 Knicks
1993 Bulls- 1993 Bulls
1993 Suns- current
1992 Blazers- current

Maybe have 95 rockets on 94 and 86 on current so we get to play with Sampson and drexler is there as well. 94 is in the game so yeah and is this for 2k17 or 2k16?

For sure, I'm open to switching things around. I think this is a good first project to do now on 2k16. We can just go one team at a time. However many we get done is fine, but the more playable teams, the better!

Meanwhile there's also people working on a spreadsheet that will be a reference for all roster makers. If anyone has this already, please speak up! We are going to pour a lot of hours into making it and it will save everyone time and will result in a quicker turnaround for future rosters!

Re: 2k17 Roster Making Brainstorm Session - Ps4, Xbox, Pc

After thinking about it for a few minutes, I think small projects like this are good for 2k16. Gives people time to enjoy the rosters before moving on to 2k17. Whenever 2k17 comes out, we just stop making 2k16 rosters.

The big goal for 2k17 should be to provide season rosters with corresponding draft classes starting with the most recent season. With a release and more forum traffic, hopefully we can recruit even more help. Then it seems we'll have contributors for fictional draft classes as well. Using classic rosters, fictional draft makers can make realistic player models and probably at a faster rate. Then we benefit by having a ton of fictional drafts! Win-win!

Cool, let me know when we will work on this and which roster we should use as a base.

Yep that will help, I am so close to finishing my 03-04 roster, if anyone wants to help they can, I have like 20 caps, contracts and tendencies. I also have draft classes and help on those will be amazing! I have bases for 2006 and 2007 but have not finished and have not started 2009 and 2008 and the rest I have already done!

For a base, either MJWizards historic roster or one of your "best of..." rosters. I know you had a project like that but not sure if you finished. I gotta talk to Sonic about Ratings and tendencies and see if he has any guidance on categories he hasn't published yet
