88-89 would be great, i would love to keep the pistons, celtics and lakers alive till like 1994 and see what happens in the league. I could help out on the rosters if you need

If you want to keep th Celtics alive, ideally you'd want to start at 1986-87 and let Len Bias live to see his rookie season.

A better experiment would be 1977-78. Let the what if scenario play itself out if walton's blazers machine stayed intact into the 80s...

true true, I was just gonna make a Bias and add him to the 1989 roster, also I was gonna keep Bird and Magic healthy as see what would happen in the early 90s

To me it would be more interesting to start in 1986-87 and see how is progresses coming off the bench behind bird and mchale.

Re: 1984 or 1985

83-84 - Celtics were the team to beat, with a solid Lakers team
84-85 - Lakers turned the table, and took care of Boston - but a solid Celtics team
85-86 - Celtics team possibly in the "greatest of all-time" category, with Bill Walton healthy - Houston upsets the Lakers on Sampson's crazy buzzer beater in LA
86-87 - Lakers pick up Mychal Thompson and win a depleted Celtics team - Bias' death

Any of the above are all worth it, though it's possible the 86-87 season started to see other teams rise to prominence elsewhere in the NBA.

2K11 was the last time I played 2K hardcore....stuck with it for 5 years.

2K18 is simply amazing MK.....have you dove into the PS4 Pro or XBOX S pool yet?

2K18 is well worth it to do so. And you are a bonafide classic roster junkie.
