Hey claimed that they would at least be adding Caron Butler but that isn’t looking too promising

That's only if signed the required paper work. Last yr they re added Nash and that's all they did . They don't touch classic teams only add players that's it.

I saw a tweet, I think from Ronnie, adressed to Caron Butler saying something like: "Thx for filling in the paperwork, you will be on the all-time wizards in the coming weeks". That was almost a month ago.

Your best option is to find a community roster maker who is updating the classic teams. 2k doesn't touch them.

Yep, since they started adding the classic teams, Ive yet to see them lift a finger to fix or update, outside of them last yr adding Nash who they did have to start with. When it comes to ratings tendencies, they are what they are, which isnt good
