Definitely has been an under utilized slider in most sets I’ve seen.

Nice work as always!

Absolutely! Sometimes it’s a little TOO good at causing streaks, as I will go ice cold for minutes at a time as the CPU runs up the score, but then I can claw back if I play smart. Definitely not an experience everyone will prefer, but I’m kind of loving it.

Yup, those are correct. Should make things a little more dynamic for sure.

I just had a really good game against Memphis and late in the game, I just went to defense strategies and took them off the three-point line.

The whole team was killing me, but that’s probably the best one I’ve had because normally I lose that game, but I kept battling, and it made it a chess match til the end of the game. Learning how to play defense is important.

You have to withstand runs by playing basketball not just jacking and playing D

Eccentric, in terms of defensive settings, what would you change to get more switching from the CPU? I'm trying to emulate more of that modern style we see today where ball handlers will take advantage of switches in the pick and roll.

I play mostly CpuvCPU.

Eccentric,

I've used your fantastic sliders as a base to make my own tweaks so maybe I set something off, but do you know what might help the AI pass the ball around about more? I'm having a lot of plays of the AI trying to power through my defender. It works if it's Kevin Durant, but you also have 6'1 guards trying to power through Luka Doncic and they just keep hitting a brick wall. Would be more beneficial for them to distribute the ball and try to find a shot other than repeatedly running into a defender and falling back.

Just to add, my main tweaks were lowering shooting sliders to 50, and 53 for 3PT. This has brought my shooting numbers to an acceptable low 49% (high 48% CPU). I also increased Steals to 65, Blocks to 60 and Offensive Rebounds to 55. My steals and blocks numbers are now almost identical to what the Mavs averaged as a team in 23-24 although Offensive Rebounding is still lowest in the league (which I can kinda understand given Lively/Gafford are my only rebounders and Luka is usually out on the perimeter).

Thanks!

Just curious with the tweaks you made, did you adjust shooting for both user and CPU, or just user? I'm also consistently shooting ~60% with the CPU shooting ~40%, so I might try something similar.

Hi Eccentric, I found an excellent balance by modifying a few things to your excellent set. Now I find it really competitive!MID RANGE AND 3PT SUCCES CPU 57 AND 56, user 59 and 59. The first 5 slides of the attributes section all 48/48. Shooting Foul -2 for the CPU. Really nice like that! I shared them as "eccentric mod hard".

These are really good. I wish we could find a way to make the game a little more wide open in open floor. The problem I see is players don’t fill their lanes properly. Any idea how to fix this?
