I've done some more testing, and I'm liking the following:
Game speed 55
Quickness 40
Speed 60
Ball Handling 45
Driving Contact Frequency 5
Strength 100
Hustle 35
On-Ball Defense 0

All of these work together.

Ive been doing a lot of testing to capture NBA speed and explosiveness and the problem is that when I feel im close to capturing it, im discouraged because the defensive footwork is so sluggish. A simple change of direction leaves defenders planted.

To cope, I find myself raising on-ball defense and the bumping that I already have a problem with becomes even more annoying.

The real problem with changing game speed or player speed is the fact, that this has direct consequences for the execution of the plays. If game speed is higher than player speed the plays run out of synch. Picks are set too early and players arrive too late for a planned action.

At least this is my observation. Maybe you all can test that.

Player speed 55
Blocking 75
Hustle 65
Ball handling 40
On ball defense 35
And inside shot frequency at 5 with the rest of my sliders and holy smokes. Totally different gameplay.

I got my butt kicked in a playnow game earlier...
