Can someone explain to me in layman's terms about the foul sliders for human and cpu?

Does raising human penalty sliders for like shooting fouls and charging increase how many fouls humans commit or does it give you a higher chance the CPU will foul you more and you get more chances to get free throws?

Increasing user foul sliders makes the user COMMIT more fouls.

I think I was thinking the opposite for years. I wish the details on the game were more in depth. Thanks for clearning that up. Is there are part of the game do you thionk needs adjusted on both sides?

A lot of things need adjusting, mainly the rebounding, AI offensive tendencies, user being called for more fouls, and the CPU giving up more turnovers.
