Impressions , the only reason I bought a PS5 is for this game and eras , its very well done and I hope all sports games adopt this type of classic era for their sport .

Is there a thread where people have posted their created courts like they do with the shoe locker? I tried searching the forum, but it wouldn't let me.

I will say that I LOVE the fact I can update team uniforms/floor and it will not mess up anything when it comes to the Historical changes for teams in Eras. This is helping me big time as I am able to update team looks and even throw in Alternate uniforms...

Unpopular opinion: I finally decided this is one of the worst 2k basketball games I’ve ever played. The green to make shots creates a very scripted, predictable feeling to the gameplay. Worst of all though the shooting feels terrible. What is with all the rainbow arcs on the ball for misses??

They just haven’t been able to capture the feeling of playing as a superstar. Watching like a highlight reel for someone like Kyrie Irving for example and you realize the tough shots he makes would all be misses in 2k world lol. Mid range is just robotic, forcing you to play more in the paint than is realistic.

The shot contest contest system this year has hurt the game. I think open shooting is good, but the range of contests and there effect on shots is unrealistic. Either call more shooting fouls or limit the effect of weak contests.

Speed differential is also terrible. Still the best 2k even with all that though. Maybe not user v user best, but overall the best.

Yeah I don't know how to adjust for the Fast Breaks either as they always have 3 or 4 defenders back ? If you crank up speed or acceleration you'll wreck game play so it's definitely a AI issue .

I agree with color also maybe their was an update change as I had it perfect using a Vivid color setting but now it looks very dark again ?

Have you tried using custom rosters and sliders? Im telling you I was in the same boat and put the game down tried ATD rosters and sliders and it has opened up the whole game speed wise pace wise and animation wise! just a suggestion as zi get your frustrstion my man!!

Put user and cpu JUMPSHOT DEFENSIVE STRENGTH (there’s two sliders for it; gather and something else I can’t recall) down to 10. Problem solved.

I think they tweaked the color in the last two updates. After each one I noticed the game overall looked crisper, and a little darker. Probably to reduce the haze/foggy/washed look some colors or arenas had originally. It seems to look better to me now though. Colors punch better.
