My Player NEEDS to be revamped for NBA 2K24

You need the right guys, but dimer does help. haha. It's nonsensical who can hit and who can't, but some guys really go hard. Cpu is really playing nice on HoF though, they are really wetting it up. I mean, they aren't lool, still shooting like 33% but I'm playing outstanding D. They are making some tough shots and not just cheesing when I'm away from the ball, like they are making plays on me. It's getting better, but yeah the artificial boost for D on HoF is stupid and it affects everything imo. All those intangible ratings.


Like they make you play yourself. But yeah, for instance I got Haliburton on my team, and I was trying so hard to get him traded. lol I asked for a trade and they traded for Zach Lavine and KEPT HIM. I was like man I thought yall were gonna at least ship him out. But he can't hit a shot to save his life and I'm pretty sure he's super wet in real life. So you just gotta trade those bummies away. There are worse ones, the guys who can drive in real life but can't on HoF... also sad.

This mode has no longevity after you finish story/quests. Like at least let me customize draft classes so I can role play or something.

All I did during the reg **** was do an olley, too. Haha. Tony Hawk was fun, but get that out of here. Stop making it so hard to get a game, the easiest thing in the freaking game should be to join up with your friends. It should be a button on main UI. It's the most popular game, or one of them. Did they take out team up? Why the heck can't you easily start a team up game as well, if you have 10 people down. MAKE SOME FRIENDS. People are different. I am working on a groundbreaking theory that there are TWO TYPES OF BRAINS. I think it makes perfect sense, but I won't expound on it. Yes, Rec is some of my research. I'm not joking lool. Think about it, it makes so much sense!! And people are so mad at each other. The sort of drug addict community really blew my logic out. I have inner peace, for now.



Think about it. Autism isn't a disorder. There are two types of brains. Nobody has published that, tho, so I MIGHT HAVE TO. So, conversation, especially in a heated time devolves quickly when people have 'that brain' and you have 'another brain.' A lot of people who are good at shooting suck at knowing where they are. A lot of people who know how to move suck at shooting (meee.) But I can wet the hell out of stuff in rhythm.


RHYTHM is the key to winning basketball games. The best point guard knows how to run the game. People get in rhythm from different things. I am type B brain so I had to learn so much in order to reach that conclusion haha. I am able to communicate very effectively with type A though. I could never solve, "why are people so different?" I deed et.



So, you have to establish a basic level of communication. Everyone is on edge but emotion is a reaction. A GIF REACTION. It boils down to logic. Put everything on logic and just chalk it up to the game. GET U SOME REC.


Find people like you and have fun. If the other team enjoys flopping and cheesing let them, but to be honest once you practice, if you ever thought of the idea of playing online, you can win regardless. There is a lot of 'system theory.' 2k is getting better because it's merging 'system theory/quantum thinking' with nub stuff. That's why we say they sold out, but their game is of the quality that I can bust anyone... I have off games, sure, whatever, but I can compete with anyone and probably win my match up or protect my area. Remember, you might be a system thinker and thus you prefer scripted stuff etc. That's what looks more real, that's why I say LET THE BOT DO HIS WORK ( when people quit out and won't let the bot put it back haha.)


So just learn the system on rec, put up with the 'bullying' because people don't understand your brain and are too heated to even think.



I feel like 2k is trying to create an environment to harvest information, but they didn't think other people would be IN THE FIELD.



Just remember, it's not any race or anything, it's the logical fact that their brain is different than yours. You gotta work together to achieve something. And then you win by 50 every time and watch the other team melt down. Spread the news kids, be up front. Be like my brain different. You know how many times we've uttered that exact phrase? My brain is different. It's different HOW, but nobody thought it's a DIFFERENT BRAIN. You feel me? Enjoy.

Next year is the 10yr anniversary of the switch to next gen (PS4 at the time), which was the start of the mycareer story era, and run of games that a lot in the older community still look back on as the golden age of 14, 15, and 16.

Requests to turn the servers back on for these games have been pretty consistent ever since they were turned off. Well how about if 2k remaster them for the PS5 in 10 year anniversary editions?



They could make money on top of their yearly releases - maybe even have them on a subscriber service, sell more VC on top of what they already do. Could be a win for the community and some good vibes with 2k again.



I didn't buy 23. First game I haven't bought since 2k13, and I probably won't buy another 2k again, but I'd throw money at some of these older games if they turned them back on. I hate the way the new games have been monetised to the nth degree, but I'm giving them a chance to make more and more money on top of what they already do.



Sell the games as fairly barebones - no myteam, just MC and parks, and let folks just have fun with 2k again, because it's sorely lacking at the moment.

Yeah, I know, but that's why a 10yr anniversary would give them the opportunity to re-release the last good myplayer experiences. They don't even have to remaster them - but that was more of a way to remove all the old sponsorships and update the rosters etc, that might cause headaches. It's a way for them to do something they said they don't do (turn servers back on) in a way that saves face and provides some excitement in the community again.

But please tune the AI players to play like their real life counterparts. Better yet, play like your rating. I play on Orlando. 38 games in, PBanchero is averaging 8 points, shooting 5 threes a game. What is in this man’s DNA??? What are tendencies for if no one will actually tune them. Give us presentation!!!! Make the game look nice. Just program in some eye candy for us. Player of the month awards. Highlight films, with REAL footage of our highlights. Give us a better replay system. Give us better in game shots. CHANGE SOMETHING. I’ve been a fan for a long time. Please don’t ruin the full potential of this game. You have a chance to truly replicate basketball. What do you all think? Maybe a developer might see this!? Maybe not, I don’t know these days. As a MyCareer player... couldn't agree more

Especially on the AI side, your teammates just become soooo bad and dumb. Cant make shots, this is completely stupid
Even the opposite team's AI needs to be better

It came to a point where I created my player and just played my career in the MY NBA mode with sliders

As long as the AI is coded to actively sabotage me I don't know if I can keep playing this series.

Looooong stretches of gameplay feel like my controller is fighting me. The AI gets super sticky on defense. I'll be on fire and can't make a bucket. My teammates do 2nd grade dumb level things an NBA player would NEVER do. The ball has miraculous physics that favor the CPU.

I mean... It's fun when it goes well. But when this game decides NO it is the most obvious troll in any video game out there.
