The LeBron rating is taken from an in game substitution screen...sometimes during games, depending on how the player is doing, they will get a ratings boost or decline.

I would like to see LeBron's rating from the roster screen, like every other player shown.

I'm pretty sure it will be 99.

Maybe they allowed ratings >100 to be displayed for Lebron since he's the cover athlete and main marketing gimmick for 2k14 anyway. MJ could be higher than 99, but the game won't show it. Create a player and max everything out and OVR is way over 99 in theory even though the display is capped at 99.

Billups gaving 10 points on Patrick Beverly is an example of when overall equals incompetence. LeBron having one point over Jordan is within the range of error. Jordan could still be a better player.
