It doesn't matter. I've turned off the system and turned it off again, signed in and signed out, all of that. if psn is still down for some of us, and we can't connect to 2K, this is all we're gonna see..

That sucks maybe mines went corrupted i kept getting the error so that's why it might have worked

But everything being over 2k on NG is really annoying i wish they kept everything from CG the exact same just with updated graphics and the new storyline for MyCareer players

I can live with certain features being taken out, I really can for a year one next gen title, but, depriving us the ability to play our saves because you want us connected to you at all times is a bit overboard of what i'll accept.

When I made that you can play offline thread, I did it just to inform people who thought it was impossible to play offline.

I knew this situation was going to happen one day and I was not looking forward to it, because this is unacceptable.

The only thing im enjoying on next gen 2k is MyCareer which is never working due to the crappy servers

I wasn't a association guy but i wish they kept it Over MyGM which just forces us to buy VC for BS goals

2k is really lucky to not have any competition

Not just 2K. I can't play Battleifield campaign. Well, I can. But it's making me start over. I really think this is a PSN problem. They got the leg up on XBone by strongly promoting that PS4 did not require constant online connectivity; this was before Microsoft followed suit by reversing their stance in constant online connectivity. I look forward to Sony ironing out their kinks; then we'll know who to blame when things go awry.

It's definitely a PSN problem. A lot of guys can't connect right now, and it's making it real annoying for us to be able to play certain games.

Still scratching my head about not being able to save ANYTHING to our hard drive while being connected to the 2K servers. Iv'e never said something needs to be removed from a game, but this NEEDS to be removed from any future NBA 2K games.

I think connectivity problems are just bound to happen. I'm not sure who really decided we were at the point where internet connections were solid and reliable enough to unnecessarily connect everything to them, but I think it was a greatly, greatly misguided decision.

The question remains: why would games require online connectivity for modes that shouldn't require online connectivity? It'd be like locking the calculator on my cell phone just because I have no service (cell phones also being another example of products with largely imperfect connectivity).
