Finally figured out good "D" using POE

I found the perfect POE defense to get around not being able to use individual defensive settings.

I use nothing inside because I could not stop the computer from getting uncontested layups.

For the flex, I use Crash defensive Glass. I noticed while using nothing inside my guys were not rebounding the ball, crashing the glass helps.

The trick to playing this style is you have to face guard the shooters individually. I constantly switch to the guy who looks the most open for three and prevent the computer from passing to him.

They will jack a lot of 3's and miss them.

Is this on a few teams?

Play GSW, Houston, Knicks and a few other teams and see if that works.

I've rarely used crash boards but every time I use nothing inside the good 3 pts shooting teams hit too many 3's especially in the 4th.

Its a cat and mouse game, you gonna have to switch out against them sometime during the game. Try play physical instead of nothing inside against them.

Yeah, after they hit about 4/5 in the qtr I have to switch that POE. Then the CPU attacks the basket a lot.

I just wish we could pick and choose who we can play physical with or sag off.

I can't use any other setting than 'nothing inside'. Works great. Held Knicks to 39% shooting in my Bulls MyGM on 12 min quarters custom sliders with these PoE settings.

i cant even figure out how to change those strategy settings. Mine are set for me and i dont see the option or menu to change it. Do i have to exit mycareer and change the setting elsewhere?

Play physical and crash defensive glass is my go-to D. Im not a fastbreak guy and physical is most like tight/deny so shooters aren't open much.

For offensive POE i usually use Get to the basket, since its pretty versatile

i like play physical and when the CPU is running guys off screens i take control of the defender and jump the lane.
