If you get a perfect release shot and timing it should go in every time. That is the whole point of using timed shooting. In NBA 2k11 before the first patched that ruined that game, if you got a perfect rated shot it would go in 90% of the time, and that is how it should be in A VIDEO GAME. I don't see what is so hard to understand about that. You should be rewarded with getting everything perfect. If its not going to go in then there is no point on playing on timed shooting and there should just be real player % shooting.

Its just like in a baseball game, if you timed the pitch and pick the right located perfectly, you should always make contact, it would be stupid to have you swing and miss if you timed it perfect and picked the right location.

And like I said, if the A- shot goes in most of the time i would be fine with that but when you are going 5/10 from the line when you are hitting A- then the game is broken and or cheating.

I don't expect an A- shot to go in every time but I don't expect it to miss as many times as I hit it especially at the end of the game.

The CPU is just scripting the miss so they can get back in the game. That is what I have a problem with.

If you get an A+ for a FT it should go in every time regardless of who is shooting.
If you get an A- then it should go in 90% of the time.

of course depending on who is taking the FT it will be harder to get the A+ or A- timing. That is why you would just make those guys timing window very short to get in the A grade.

So for example someone like Shaq who was always a terrible FT shooting would usually get an average of a C or C+ timing which those ratings would go in 50% of the time.

I would even say D should only go in 10-20% of the time and F should never go in.

Exactly, the game has made me miss key FT's just to force orvertime or give the other player a chance at tieing the game up.

During one game I kept track of A- free throws for kicks. 5 of 12 free throws went in with an A- rating. 3 of 4 B+ free throws went in.

Michael Jordan misses A- free throws all the time on my team, but in the same game I can hit a D with Shaq. You know it's messed up when Shaq can hit a higher percentage from the line than Jordan.
