NBA 2K14 Workaround to play MyCareer/MyGM (Xbox One)

This is a problem similar to what I have described. Basically, your MyGM file cannot overwrite the current save that is out on the 2k server. Which ALSO means that you cannot create a new one (same principle, it wasn't there before so can't be there now).

Basically, if you simply want to play a new career or GM for the next few days while we wait for something from 2k, follow my post and make a second profile so that you can have fresh saves and play temporarily.

The bug was introduced with the third patch. I have created 4 MyPlayer accounts with 4 different gamertags and all have been corrupted. But instead of getting kicked back to main screen I get this.

Have you tried the following:

1) From X1 Dashboard, sign out of all profiles.
2) Start NBA 2k14
3) Let intro play fully
4) Go to "Features" then the dressing room and remove any purchased accessories. (change back to the default)
5) Back out to the home screen
6) sign into one of your accounts

It won't even let you select the "Features" menu if your not signed in will it? doesn't say you must be signed in to play this game or something like that?

And another thing. With 3 of the Myplayer accounts I havent purchased or equipped any accessories and I stink get the blank images and can't change my gear. Could that one account be corrupting them all?

You may very well be right, I'm at work so I cannot test for myself. But I know I read something this morning that said removing purchased clothing may resolve this issue. If you hold tight, I'm looking into it now and will update asap!

You can only have 1 MyPlayer ACCOUNT per Gamertag.
You can have 5 MyCareer/MyGM saves per ACCOUNT.

So...
Do you have 4 game saves on the same account
OR
4 DIFFERENT Gamertags, each with its own MyPlayer account & game save

Just trying to clarify!
