So I just got 2k15 today.

Is the general consensus to hold off on doing the face scan until the issues are sorted or what?

Pretty bright in my room and I can't even get the window to turn green...this is pointless.

I have it set to skin tone 5 which looks fine in the scan menu and in the practice gym but in actual arenas it's a little light. I tried the darker skin tone 4 and it's too dark so I just kept it on 4. I've only played one away game and every other game at home so maybe it'll be different in other arenas.

After about 3 hours I finally got 5000 ref points.

1. don't over do it with the light, there is a sweetspot. If you have too much or too little light the frame wont light green. I got right up close to my TV and when it turned white it gave me good light.

2. Get as close to the camera as you can while keeping your ears, eyes mouth in frame. When I tried to fit my whole head in frame I was only getting like 2500, and often had 2 mouths.

3. Putting a khaki color sheet behind me helped.

I was cursing the camera after a while, but when it finally worked I was impressed. Good luck~

It'll be hard to get this feature fixed with all the pointing to user error.

I'm 100% there is an issue with some kinects.
