Re: NBA 2K15 Unrealistic Gameplay

Yea the stuff the OP is going threw, happens on all star and superstar. The slow reacts, ai teammates standing and watching shooters shoot instead of closing out to at least try to contest the shot, then when you try to take control to contest the shot it's like something is stopping you from moving.

There's no excuse for this stuff. The user should not be handicapped just to make the game play better. Should not have to wait animations to finish just to give the game that realistic look.

Computer players don't have this issue. They can make two jumps back to back. And still recovery to contest the ahot. While my player jumps late and then jumps again after the shot is already in.

Well, MyCareer games are somewhat scripted, so you have to expect that kind of cheese in that mode, unfortunately.

You're playing on the Default setting AND HoF...never play on default.

Switch it to simulation and as someone else said Superstar difficulty. This game has some of the most realistic elements in a sports game I've ever played on that setting.

I'm about to try this setting right now. This game pisses me off like no other. SO much potential but SO much crap. Pretty much everything the OP said...it's just trashing the entire experience. Last year I just totally stopped playing 2k14 because of these issues and they seem to find their way back into the new game every year.

Lowering the difficulty is not the solution at all. They are literally getting more offensive rebounds and hitting shots that users are not. They are getting bad shots but they are mostly going in. Explain how lowering the difficulty is going to help that? Something is not right and needs to be fixed to make it more realistic.

Well I have come to this conclusion, and I would encourage all others to try. Im not sure if this has been discovered yet, but this is certainly the case with my game........All star difficulty is broken.

I just turned the difficulty up to superstar and all of a sudden everything is more realistic. Im able to compete. Try it, let me know how you go.

Re: NBA 2K15 Unrealistic Gameplay

100% agree.. i play on hof sim as well
this scenario happens 80% of the time. they try 2 run a play and i defend it perfectly so the play gets broken down which leads to a one on one with a dwindling shotclock where the computer drives in and pulls up for a contested jumper in the paint and it goes in 9 times out of 10 no matter how well contested it is.

no matter who the player is. individual tendencies dont mean anything, everyone plays like kobe. A persons drive tendecy could be on 100 theyll still pull up for the midrange.

the only solution ive found is to play them towards the baseline because they miss more on the sides than in the middle

i dont mind if its a superstar doing these things but when im getting killed by players doing stuff thats not even in their skill set its the most frustrating thing in the world.

perkins hitting turn around fadeaways from the elbow ???
